We’re wishing all of our family, friends, and couples a very happy and safe week!! Every year around this time we get to share a little recap of our previous year. 2019, was absolutely incredible and we could not have asked for more. We had the chance to photograph so many couples and families and what’s even crazier is how we started and ended the year. Our very very first wedding in 2019 took place at the Palace at Somerset Park on January 12th and our very last wedding of 2019 was on New Year’s Eve which also took place at the Palace. Our year started and ended perfectly and ever wedding in between was a complete success.

The reason we quoted the word “JOB” in our previous post was that this is our work but people often say, “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.” See, we don’t really consider this our JOB, we consider it our way of living more than anything. From the moment we get that inquiry, there is this excitement we get from getting to talk to a couple who just recently got engaged and is excited to share their story with us. That little spark ignites this mission in us to make this experience as beautiful as possible without hesitation, without fear, with pure focus and passion. Imagine this, a little girl, 6-10yrs old-ish dreaming of looking like a princess in a wedding dress. As the years pass by, their life partner gets added into the dream and everything just grows from there. Then finally the day is here. This day that was dreamt of for years. Now our “JOB” here is to photograph it. We don’t just take pictures of the day, our mission is to document it in a way that will capture the love, the emotion, and the happiness of the day. Some may not think about this but we’re literally there all day working towards this goal. Once it’s all said and done, this love story will be shared for years to come with family, friends, children, grandchildren. Each time we took that photo through our lens is another special moment that tells a story. And within each story, there is another story and another one and another one… I could go on and on about this but you guys get the point!!

We think about this almost every day and we are forever grateful that our “JOB” has become such an important part of your day and the fact that our couples trust us to do this is just simply incredible to us. So with that said, we are extremely grateful to all of you. Every single smile, every single laugh, every joke, and every hug get to experience from you guys, we don’t take for granted. We recognize them all and we want you guys to know that YOU impact our lives daily!! We love you all and here’s to another amazing year ahead!!
