Lisa & Ali's Wedding - Haledon, NJ

Hey Everyone!!! Today we're delighted to share with you all Lisa & Ali's wedding we recently photographed.

Their wedding followed some Circassian Traditions where the ceremony took part on a separate day, however it was an honor to document their wedding celebrations. We arrived at Lisa's home for their bride prep. Ali had flown in a few days prior for the wedding so we finally got to meet him and his brother Humzah. Both extremely cordial; they prepared themselves for the big day ahead.

Once everyone had gotten ready, we went out to Verona Park in Verona, NJ for their first look. During this time, Ali was going to see his Bride in her wedding dress for the first time. It was as emotional as one could expect and their love for each other was beyond transparent. We stayed at Verona Park for their portraits and then headed back to their house. At this point, Ali would arrive separately to pick up Lisa the traditional way; through bribes, dances, singing and a huge celebration. After picking up Lisa, we all headed over to The Bethwood in Totowa, NJ for the commencement of their party. Between their energetic crowd, Circassian music and fast paced dancing; this party definitely hit the top of our list. Seeing these different traditions is always fascinating for us and these dances were truly one of a kind!!

We're so thankful to have come across you guys and to have photographed your special day. When we met, you were incredibly humble and down to earth so we knew we had attracted you guys somehow ;-) It was a honor to work with you and your family and we're thankful to have had the opportunity to experience this culture. So we thank you guys and we hope you both enjoy your captured moments. We wish you're enjoying Australia and we can't wait to hear back from you soon!!
